Dear Alannah,
Maybe it is the arctic frigidity and the 10 million feet of snow we have received these past couple weeks, but I NEED A VACATION! The weather is annoying, and every little thing seems to be frustrating me about Mount Saint James. Case in point: the boy who decides it’s okay to eat a bag of chips in the periodicals room while constantly chewing one chip at a time, or the people in Hart who think it is socially acceptable to put their salty boots all over the new benches. I could write a whole thesis on this! However, there is real work to be done. How can I make it to Spring Break without pushing someone down the Dinand steps?

Sincerely,
Over the Hill
Dear Over the Hill,
With the extreme weather conditions of this past winter, I think it is safe to say that we all are in need of some R&R on a remote island. However, with a week left of school before break here are some helpful tips:

1. Make a To-Do List of everything you have to do before Spring Break. This way you have a set of goals you can focus on instead of the little things.

2. Focus on your work. Actually do the reading for your 100-level sociology class instead of just listening in class.  Trust me, you will feel smarter.

3. Go to the gym! Remember the wise words of Elle Woods: “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy.”

4. Netflix. When all else fails, go to your room and indulge in the new season of House of Cards. If this doesn’t distract you, I don’t know what else will.
